The Animal Justice Party actively campaigns at a government policy level against wildlife destruction, factory farming, live export, companion and domestic animal abuse, and the use of animals for sport and entertainment.
When advocating for change, your message needs to be heard loud and clear. The Animal Justice Party needed a short-term PR plan that could cut through the noise, reach the masses and get under the skin of those with the power to make those changes.
HOW WE WORK
Emma Hurst, MLC of the NSW Animal Justice Party was lobbying for new legislation to put an end to cruel puppy farming conditions in NSW, an issue that had already been addressed in neighbouring states in Australia.
With factory production animal purchases on the rise, Pure Public Relations sat down with the Animal Justice Party to dissect the organisation’s priority campaign message, to land mainstream news that could implement real change.
Knowing that animal-loving Australians simply would not allow this cruelty to persist if they were better educated on the issue at hand, Pure Public Relations worked closely with the Animal Justice Party to build a robust communications infrastructure, landing Emma Hurst’s campaign in front of the right people at the right time.
RESULTS
Pure Public Relations helped the Animal Justice Party’s work to eradicate the cruel reproduction process of dogs in NSW, and to shine a light on the intrinsic link between animal cruelty and domestic violence with strategically placed stories and interviews. These included:
