Pure Public Relations worked with the Animal Justice Party to bring awareness to strict by-laws that banned pets in many apartments and townhouses throughout NSW. This policy directly affected people who were trying to escape domestic violence by limiting the accommodation options available, and also discriminated against people living with a disability who require a support animal in their home.
HOW WE WORKED
The Animal Justice Party campaigned to end these unjust by-laws by bringing attention to how important companion animals can be to the mental health of domestic violence survivors.
By achieving coverage across various mainstream media publications, Pure Public Relations was able to help the Animal Justice Party educate the Australian public on this important policy and bring awareness to a cause that was at that time largely unreported.
RESULTS
