The business services over 10,000 customers across Australia, with a significant market share across Asia, the USA, New Zealand and the rest of Oceania.

SMARTECH approached Pure Public Relations with the purpose of building brand credibility and raising the thought leadership profile of its APAC CEO, Vincent Nair. The campaign was initiated as part of the company’s growth strategy which set its sights on achieving a revenue of more than $100m in 2023.

As part of SMARTECH’s tailored strategy, Pure Public Relations identified three key avenues to build brand credibility and establish Vincent Nair as a thought leader:

  • media coverage including personal profiling features, opinion pieces, advice articles and interviews, and reactive news commentary
  • securing relevant speaking opportunities and submitting for awards
  • the creation of LinkedIn thought leadership content.

Pure Public Relations used its extensive list of media contacts to secure bylined articles on newsworthy topics such as leadership and business advice, diversity and inclusion, and good corporate governance. The team also worked to develop and maintain media relationships between SMARTECH and Australian media outlets, and provided Vincent Nair with media and messaging training that could also be used in his speaking engagements.

Throughout the client’s five-month campaign, Pure Public Relations helped SMARTECH achieve widespread coverage in mainstream media, as well as several high-profile business publications.

This includes publications including, but not limited to:

  • The Australian
  • SmartCompany
  • CEO Magazine
  • The Sunday Telegraph
  • Lawyers Weekly
  • Smart Company
  • The Australian Financial Review
  • Balance The Grind
  • NT News

As a result of the campaign, SMARTECH CEO, Vincent Nair, was engaged in several speaking opportunities, including Leading Innovation and SmallBiz Week.
