So what about giving away freebies (such as free consulting sessions) or discounting your services? Is it a bad idea or will it benefit your business?
One school of thought says that freebies and discounts:
- devalue or cheapen your services
- attract freeloaders and tire-kickers
- reduce your profit
- make it difficult to charge full-price.
Fair enough. But is this always the case?

Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips for rookie blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
